The Singles Ministry seeks to provide a Christian based support system to unmarried believers from 18 years of age and above in embracing the gift, the blessings and the challenges of singleness through bible study, service, and fellowship.
The vision is to establish a well-planned and properly balanced ministry that is enriching, challenging and varied to appeal to the different interests, genders, and age groups of the ministry.
Our Goals:
To provide a Christian based support system to unmarried believers in embracing the gift, the blessings and challenges of singleness.
Develop a needs assessment from single members of the church. (never married, divorced, or widowed)
Establish service partnerships with existing auxiliaries in the church to achieve the church mission.
Develop a weekly Bible Study class through the FMBC Sunday School Department.
Establish a calendar of social/networking opportunities as a church group or individual focus.
Increase our visibility and availability to attend local, state and national conferences as a church group through the financial support of the church.
