Young Ladies of Christian Character (YLCC) is a strong connecting point for young women between faith, tradition, family and community. Building Young Ladies of Christian Character is an incredible journey for everyone. This experience is as much about being purposeful with faith as it is encouraging positive transition from one stage of life to the next...

There are four main goals of building Young Ladies of Christian Character.

* To provide instruction on what it means to be a godly woman.

* To create a point in time for young ladies to accept responsibility for their own spiritual growth. Young Ladies will enter into spritual adulthood as we move from being teachers to coaches...

* To establish mentoring relationships with adult women. These mentors will encourage and guide young ladies in their walk with Christ.

* To extend a formal blessing upon each young lady.

YLCC was a 8 week journey of love that commenced on March 28, 2009 with a Formal Presentation Ceremony of our Young Ladies of Christian Character.

YLCC Advisors: Sisters Teresa Evans, Sabrina Srinivasa, Lakreisha Reese, Larnetta Peterson, Tammy Moore, Janine Lewis, Jocelyn Lawrence, Rushon Gillette and Kecia Blackshear.
